What Happens in a Robotics Demo Class?
A demo is a chance to see how your child responds to a practical challenge and to ask about the proposed class. Future Minds is preparing its Ananth Nagar centre; request a free demo and wait for a confirmed appointment before travelling.
Before the visit
Share the student’s grade, approximate age and any Scratch, Python or robotics experience. Mention whether they enjoy building, stories, games or puzzles. These details help a mentor choose a starting task without assuming experience from age alone.
Confirm the date, address and demo availability directly. Regular weekday classes are planned between 4 PM and 8 PM, and weekend classes between 10:30 AM and 5:30 PM. Regular sessions are one hour; the demo activity and duration should be confirmed when booking.
During a hands-on task
Watch whether the learner gets to make a prediction, manipulate parts or code, and test a result. Younger children may start with a mechanism or visual sequence, while experienced students can explore sensor decisions. A demo is not an examination, and a hesitant start does not mean robotics is unsuitable.
Ask how the mentor responds to a mistake. Does the child receive a prompt to investigate, or only a corrected answer? This gives a practical glimpse of the teaching approach.
Questions before enrolling
Ask about the proposed grade group, the 4-5 student batch, individual kit access, fees, missed-session arrangements and the current timetable. Confirm which materials stay at the centre and whether any device or software is needed at home.
Submitting an enquiry requests contact; it does not reserve a confirmed slot. Parent enquiries are scheduled Monday-Friday 11 AM-3 PM and weekends 11 AM-6 PM. Keep the confirmation from the team before planning your visit.
